Matthew Rusike from a Volunteer's Perspective
By Carli Peacock, Volunteer 2000

When I think of Matthew Rusike Children's Home I am reminded of love, tireless commitment and potential. The combination of the three could result in something admirable if only resources would allow.

There is a vast array of sporting talent, artistic ability and academic capability amongst the children and young adults. I long for them to have the resources to build upon their skills.

You can provide assistance in many ways such as providing provisions for food, clothing or footwear. Perhaps you are able to offer education or training to the children or staff? Maybe you would like to make a donation?

I am eternally grateful to the individuals at Matthew Rusike Children's Home who have touched my life in a way that they may never understand.

My stay here has provided me with the inspiration to continue to challenge the development of the world we live in and the humility to endure it.

Please remember to appreciate and enjoy all the wonders that life has to offer but keep in mind that others are not so fortunate.

The future of Matthew Rusike Children's Home depends upon your generous heart.
